	Remove/install
1	Disconnect battery ground line		AR54.10-P-0003XG
2	Remove left-hand air filter housing		AR09.10-P-1151XGA
3	Remove noise insulation above left cylinder head cover
4	Relieve fuel pressure over diagnostic socket		AR07.03-P-1460-01XGA
		Dust protection cap to service connection	*BA07.03-P-1005-01H

5	Release and disconnect electrical connector at left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)
6	Clean rail in the area of left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)	Ensure absolute cleanliness when working on the high-pressure fuel circuit. Use only lint-free cleaning cloths Damage will occur otherwise on the high- pressure fuel circuit.
		Assembly cleaner	*BR00.45-Z-1028-04A
7	Cover area around left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2) with suitable rags and carefully slightly release left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)	Wear oil-resistant, fiber-free gloves lined with rubber.

8	Remove left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2)	: Install new left fuel pressure and temperature sensor (B42/2). Collect exuded fuel using a suitable absorbent rag.

10	Read out and erase fault memory

12	Perform an engine test run and check engine for proper operation and leaktightness
