| 1 | Start the control unit replacement with the diagnostic system. | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |

| 2 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 4 | Release and disconnect the electrical connections (2). | ||
| 5 | Unclip the electrical wiring harness on the retaining clip (1) and place to one side. | ||

| 7 | Remove the ME control unit (N3/10) with bracket (12) by moving it downward. | ||
| 8 | Unscrew the bolts (11) and remove the bracket (12). | When replacing the ME-SFI [ME] control unit (N3/10). | |
