DANGER Risk of death  caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform. Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer. AS00.00-Z-0010-01A
WARNING Risk of injury  to skin and eyes suffering scalding from contact with hot coolantspray. Risk of poisoning  from swallowing coolant. Do not open cooling system unless coolant temperature is below 90°C. Open cap slowly and release the overpressure. Do not pour coolant into beverage containers.
Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Drain coolant of low-temperature circuit. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install lower engine compartment paneling after leak test. AR09.41-P-6834MFG
2 Remove front section of left front fender liner. INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Only install front section of left front fender liner after leak test. AR88.10-P-1301MFA
3 Release electrical connector (1) and disconnect.    
4 Remove clip (3) from fitting (2).    
5 Remove charge air cooler coolant temperature sensor (B11/5). INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace sealing ring.  
6 Install in the reverse order.    
7 Read out and delete fault memory.    
DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEMS     AD00.00-P-2000-06MFA
WARNING Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running. Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts. AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
8 Perform engine test run. While doing so, check engine for proper operation and leak tightness.    
9 Install front section of left front fender liner.   AR88.10-P-1301MFA
10 Install lower engine compartment lining.   AR61.20-P-1105MFR
