Removal And Installation: Installation

NOTE:

If a NEW  Security Gateway (SGW) module is being installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the module. Failure to flash the module will leave the SGW module in a locked mode preventing SGW module operation.

  1. Position the SGW module.
  2. Connect the SGW module wire harness connectors.
  3. Install the SGW module retaining bolts and tighten securely.
  4. Install the ICS. Refer to CONTROLS, REAR CABIN COMFORT (RCCC)., REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION MODULE, INTEGRATED CENTER STACK (ICSM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
  6. If a NEW  SGW module is installed, use the diagnostic scan tool to flash the SGW module.
