	Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge		AH54.00-P-0001-01A
	Remove/install
1	Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (at least 2 m)
2	Remove left or right cover (1)	Mounting wedge	Fig 1
3	Remove DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B292) or DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B293) from the bumper	Note correct seating of the DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or the DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3).
4	Release and disconnect electrical connection (2)
5	Install in the reverse order
	Initial startup
6	Perform commissioning using the diagnostic system	Only when replacing the DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front left (B29/2) or DISTRONIC (DTR) sensor on the bumper at the front right (B29/3).
