EXPLANATION
Van based refrigeration units leased through Ryder may require dealer servicing. These vans are equipped with a PSM program in which the engine may start automatically with the key on (key position 2) and the refrigeration unit turned on. Engine start is controlled through the PSM by a signal from the refrigeration controller when refrigeration is required.
ACTION
Do NOT work under the hood with the key in the ignition and switched on! When working under the hood / performing maintenance remove the key from the ignition and put it in a safe place.
