General Information On Wheel Alignment - Ar40.20-D-0201H

INSPECT Check   
1 Check condition of vehicle IMPORTANT The vehicle should be aligned and adjusted in the load condition in which it is most frequently used.
IMPORTANT The wheel alignment check is performed in relation to the front axle and the vehicle level.
2 Check condition of tires IMPORTANT Visual inspection for wear pattern, tread depth and damage.
3 Check condition of rims IMPORTANT Visual inspection for damage.
4 Check tire inflation pressure IMPORTANT See the owner's manual or information label on the driver seat frame for the tire inflation pressure values; correct the tire inflation pressure if necessary.
5 Check vehicle underbody IMPORTANT Visual inspection for damage, corrosion of chassis parts and supporting body parts, leaks from components and lines.
6 Check wheel bearing play IMPORTANT Check without dial indicator.
7 Checking condition of steering mechanism IMPORTANT Visual inspection for damage.
8 Check bellows on steering linkage IMPORTANT Visual inspection for damage.
