Difference, left to right: 30'

Procedure: 

1. Measure front axle level and rear axle level on one side of the vehicle and obtain the specified value of caster (measured via 20° wheel angle) from the table.

   The caster cannot be adjusted but it must be checked to ensure the chassis geometry is correct.

   Value "h" for FA in the table corresponds to the previously determined dimension "A" at the front-axle shock-absorber strut. Value "h" for RA in the table corresponds to the previously determined dimension "B" at the rear-axle shock absorber.

2. Measure actual caster as part of axle alignment and compare with specified values.

   Compare the caster values determined on both sides of the vehicle and establish whether the permissible tolerance has been maintained.

   Example on vehicle with wheelbase 3665 mm:  Level at front axle (FA) 463 mm and level at rear axle (RA) 500 mm = Caster value for front axle 03° 34'
