Remove And Install Temperature And Overheating Sensor - Ar83.70-S-5687S

Model 906 with engine 642, 646, 651 

with code H12 (Auxiliary hot-water heater) 

except code PE4 (DCAA bus master code, Argen) 

except code PE5 (Mastercode, bus seats on raised base, Argen)

	Remove/install
1	Remove STH heater (A6) with bracket.	Model 906	AR83.70-D-5945B
2	Remove exhaust system from STH heater (A6).		AR83.70-S-7000S
3	Remove STH control unit (A6n1) and place to one side with attached electrical wiring harness.		AR83.70-S-5940S
4	Unscrew screw/bolts (1).
5	Remove cap (2).
6	Remove feed-through grommet (3) together with electrical wiring harness from STH heater (A6).	: Make sure that the feed-through grommet (3) is seated correctly.
7	Remove screw (4) and remove retaining bracket (5).
8	Remove temperature sensor (A6b1) and temperature sensor (A6r3) from STH heater (A6).	: Install new sealing rings.
9	Unpin individual contacts of electrical wiring harness for temperature sensor (A6b1) and for temperature sensor (A6r3) from plug housing (6).	Mark assignment of individual contacts in plug housing (6). : Observe marking of individual contacts. MCP 2.8_/Fl. blade 2.8_/JPT/SPT	Fig 1
10	Install in the reverse order
