Remove/install frontal acceleration sensor - AR91.60-P-0750W

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
NOTES Information on preventing damage to electronic components due to electrostatic discharge   AH54.00-P-0001-01A
1 Disconnect ground line at the on-board electrical system battery   AR54.10-P-0003W
2 Remove Mercedes star In vehicles without code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS AR88.40-P-4050W
3 Remove top radiator cover (1) with hose (2) On vehicles with code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS  
4.1 Fold over air deflector (3) In vehicles without code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS  
4.2 Remove air deflector (3) On vehicles with code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS  
5 Press back radiator (4) On vehicles with code (233) DISTRONIC PLUS  
6 Remove screw/bolt (5) or screw/bolt (7) TORQUE SPECIFICATION *BA91.60-P-1013-01A 
7 Remove electrical connector (6) or electrical connector (8)    
8 Remove left frontal acceleration sensor (B48/1) or right frontal acceleration sensor (B48/2) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Insert left frontal acceleration sensor (B48/1) or right frontal acceleration sensor (B48/2) with guide pin (arrow) into front module support.  
9 Install in the reverse order    
10 Connect Star Diagnosis and check Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) When replacing left frontal acceleration sensor (B48/1) or right frontal acceleration sensor (B48/2). AD00.00-P-2000-04A
