Boost pressure control pressure transducer, location Mounted at rear on cylinder head of left cylinder bank
Boost pressure control pressure transducer, task To produce modulated boost pressure for the vacuum cells depending on the PWM signal from the engine control unit.
Boost pressure control pressure transducer design Plastic housing with coil for the battery voltage, resistance approx. 23 Ω, actuation by means of the PWM signal, frequency approx. 30 Hz
Boost pressure control pressure transducer, function A valve plate operated by the coil armature increases the opening time to atmosphere as the duty cycle increased. As a result only a part of the boost pressure from connection 1 acts on the vacuum cells.
