Off-road transmission mode, general 

The off-road transmission mode adjusts the engine power output behavior, the accelerator pedal characteristic and the shifting behavior of the automatic transmission.

The electronic traction control is also activated and the antilock brake system (ABS) and Electronic Stability Program (ESP) are matched to driving off road.
