Adjusting possibilities 

The following adjustments can be performed on the rear seats:

• Head restraint adjustment (A)
• Backrest adjustment (B)
• Seat fore/aft adjustment (C)
• Seat cushion inclination adjustment (D)

Memory function 

On vehicles with code (276) Memory in rear:

Three seat adjustments each can be stored and retrieved again for left and right.

Possibility for front passenger seat adjustment 

The front passenger seat can be adjusted via the right rear seat operation switch group (S55/2).

The adjustment of the right rear seat is performed by the motors (M18/16, M18/18, M18/20 and M28/11), the adjustment of the left rear seat by the motors (M18/15, M18/17, M18/19 and M27/11). Each motor is equipped with a Hall sensor for position registration, collision avoidance and lock-up recognition.

Actuation and evaluation is carried out by the rear seats control unit (N25/6). The max. ranges of adjustment of the seat adjustment are stored in the rear seats control unit.

A normalization of the seat adjustment is required for the automatic functions.
