Heated seats (HS), function - GF91.30-P-0003PQ

Function 

The heated seats (HS) integrated in the driver and front passenger seats make it possible to heat the left front seat heated cushion (R13/1) and the left front backrest heated cushion (R13/2) and the right front seat heated cushion (R13/3) and the right front backrest heated cushion (R13/4) of the driver and front passenger seats at three heater settings.

The heated seats (HS) are operated using the left front HS switch (N72/1s10) and the right front HS switch (N72/1s11), which are read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).

The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) controls the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3 and R13/4) in the seat cushions and backrests.

The different heating stages are achieved by means of pulsed actuation of the voltage in the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3 and R13/4).

The operating statuses are indicated by three red light emitting diodes in the left front HS switch (N72/1s10) and the right front HS switch (N72/1s11).

The following control units are involved: 

• Upper control panel control unit (N72/1)
• EIS control unit (N73)
• AAC control and operating unit (N22) (without code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning)
• Comfort AAC control and operating unit (N22/7) (with code (581b) comfort automatic air conditioning)
