  ME-SFI fuel rail, location   GF07.61-P-3101-01AM
ME-SFI fuel rail, task The fuel distribution rail supplies fuel to injection valves equally under all operating conditions and simultaneously reduces fluctuations in fuel pressure.
ME-SFI fuel rail, design The injection valves are inserted in the fuel distribution rail with O-rings and retaining clamps. Moreover, the fuel pressure damper and the pressure gauge connection with a service valve are integrated in the fuel distribution rail.
ME fuel rail, function An adequate quantity of fuel is delivered to each injection valve.
At the same time, the fuel pressure damper reduces fluctuations in fuel pressure. The pressure gauge connection with a service valve is used for testing fuel pressure and for releasing the pressure when carrying out assembly operations.
