	Remove/install
	Risk of injury  caused by performing testing or repair work on airbag or emergency tensioning retractor units.	Store airbag units with deployment side facing up; do not expose to temperatures greater than 100 °C. When working on these units, disconnect the power supply.	AS91.00-Z-0001-01A

1	Switch off ignition, detach transmitter key from electronic ignition switch control unit	On vehicles with code (889) Keyless Go: Press Keyless Go start/stop button repeatedly until the ignition is switched off. Remove the transmitter key from the vehicle and store at a location that is beyond the transmitter range (min. 2 m).
2	Remove rear side paneling (1)	Model 209.3	AR68.30-P-4780Q

3	Press cable duct (2) to the side
4	Remove bolts (3)		*BA91.60-P-1011-01A
5	Release and disconnect electrical connector (4)
6	Remove left sidebag and windowbag sensor (A53/1) or right sidebag and windowbag sensor (A54/1)
7	Install in the reverse order
8	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out and erase fault memory
	Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory		AD00.00-P-2000-04A
