Test 7: Stoplight Switch Alarm Circuit

  1. Connect breakout box to Pneumatic System Equipment (PSE) control module. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Measure voltage between breakout box terminal No. 12 and PSE control module connector No. 2 terminal No. 3. Voltage should be less than one volt.
  2. Apply service brakes. Battery voltage should exist. If voltage is as specified, stoplight switch alarm circuit is okay at this time. If voltage is not as specified, check wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, check stoplight switch.
