Temperature dial, function - GF83.25-P-2102-01A

Function

Turning the temperature dials adjusts a potentiometer. The potentiometer is thereby set to a particular resistance corresponding to the selected temperature and the pushbutton control module compares this setting with the temperature in the vehicle passenger compartment measured by the in-car temperature sensor.

The temperature dials allow the temperature for each side of the car to be set separately and infinitely between

"blue" = heater off and

"red" = max. heating.

When it is necessary to heat up the passenger compartment to the set temperature heat-up is accomplished as quickly as possible and then held constant.
