Front passenger seat occupied recognition sensor with automatic child seat recognition, location/purpose/design/ function - GF91.60-P-4008GH

  Purpose The front passenger seat occupied recognition sensor  disables triggering of the passenger airbag, side airbag and emergency tensioning retractor when the passenger seat is not occupied thereby eliminating unnecessary triggering of the safety equipment.
The child seat recognition feature  disables triggering of the passenger airbag when the child seat is in position to protect the child.
