Test 2: Retractable Trunk Lid Grip System Vacuum Check
Disconnect pneumatic line from retractable trunk lid grip actuator. Connect Black connector on Vacuum/Pressure Tester (201 589 13 21 00) to pneumatic connector on actuator and plug actuator throttle. See Fig 1. Apply 8.1 In. Hg (300 mbar) of vacuum to system. If vacuum loss is not substantial in one minute, actuator is okay at this time. If vacuum loss is substantial in one minute, replace actuator.
