Tempmatic air conditioning pushbutton control module position/function - GF83.30-P-2000A
MODEL 210 with CODE (580) Air conditioning or Tempmatic for USA
Shown on residual engine heat recirculation (Codes 450, 670)
Function
The control and operating module (N19) automatic heater (HEAT) permits performance of adjustments required by the driver, such as:
- Temperature by using the temperature selection wheels (1)
- Air quantity by using the blower switch (2)
- Air distribution by using the air distribution switch (3)
- Recirculated air by pressing the recirculated air pushbutton (4)
- Activation of the residual engine heat recirculation, with ignition turned off, by pressing the Rest button (4) with Codes 450, 670
- Switching off the cooling by pressing the EC pushbutton (5)
Furthermore the control module integrated into the control and operating (N19) module takes over regulation and control of systems, such as:
- comparison of the preselected / actual temperatures and adjustment of the air output temperature to the air outlets
- automatic switching from fresh air to recirculated air
- electrical actuation of the refrigerant compressor
- actuation of the auxiliary ventilator
The control and operation module (N19) can be diagnosed so that faults arising are stored in a fault memory, which can be read out with the aid of the Hand-Held-Tester.
When changing the control and operating module (N19) a variant coding should be performed with the aid of the Hand-Held Tester.
