Test 9: Trunk Lid Receiver Red Indicator Lights

  1. Connect adapter harness and breakout box to RCL control module connectors. DO NOT connect breakout box to RCL control module. Connect jumper wire between terminals No. 9 and 21 at breakout box. Note Red indicator lights operation. Connect another jumper wire between terminals No. 24 and 27 at breakout box. Note Red indicator lights operation.
  2. With none, or only one jumper wire connected, Red indicator lights should be off. With both jumper wires connected, Red indicator lights should be on. If Red indicator lights do not operate as described, repair wiring. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Check trunk lid receiver.
