Throttle Valve Position

Throttle valve position is transmitted by throttle valve actual value potentiometer in electronic accelerator control actuator (with ASR) or cruise control/idle speed control actuator (without ASR). The engine control module receives throttle valve position information from electronic accelerator control module (with ASR) or cruise control/idle speed control module (without ASR). The engine control module uses throttle valve position to control minimum fuel injection quantity, acceleration enrichment, Wide Open Throttle (WOT) enrichment, deceleration fuel injection shutoff, and ignition adjustment for WOT.
