Closed Throttle Position Recognition

Closed throttle position is identified through closed throttle position switch in electronic accelerator control actuator (with ASR) or cruise control/idle speed control actuator (without ASR). The engine control module receives information from electronic accelerator control module (with ASR) or cruise control/idle speed control module (without ASR) that throttle is closed. The engine control module uses closed throttle position sense to control fuel injection during warm-up, deceleration fuel injection shutoff, ignition at idle, and catalyst warm-up.
