Cruise Control/Idle Speed Control Actuator
The cruise control/idle speed control actuator is only used on vehicles not equipped with Acceleration Slip Regulation (ASR). Throttle valve position is set (adjusted) differently from driver input only for cruise control operation and idle speed control. The cruise control/idle speed control actuator module uses input from various sensors and other control modules to adjust cruise control/idle speed control actuator to properly adjust for cruise control function or idle speed control.
