Lambda Control

Lambda control is integrated within CIS-E control unit and controls differential pressure regulator. Lambda control starts only after start valve enrichment is canceled. Lambda control is inoperative under the following conditions:

• Oxygen sensor malfunction or sensor not yet fully heated.
• Deceleration (fuel is shut off).
• Full engine load.
• Acceleration (fuel enrichment).
• Coolant temperatures less than 105°F (40°C).
