Front bumper component removal note

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2024 Mazda CX-90. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION:
  • If the front bumper component and front bumper sliders are forcibly detached, the parts may be damaged. Be careful when detaching the front bumper component from the front bumper sliders.
  • Removing the front bumper component without supporting it could cause the front bumper component to fall and cause serious injury. Always perform the procedure with at least one other person to prevent the front bumper component from falling.
  1. Remove the front bumper component as shown in the figure.
    • Figure also shows the left side (same for the right side).

  2. Pull the front bumper in the direction shown in the figure and remove the locater pin.
    NOTE:
    • If the locater pin is damaged, replace it.
