With EGR Cooler

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the front under cover No. 2. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Remove the front under cover No. 1. (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  4. Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT (VIN M) .)
  5. Disconnect the ECT sensor connector.
  6. Remove the ECT sensor using the SST.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
  8. Refill the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT (VIN M) .)
