Sensor output value inspection
CAUTION:
- Circuit Inspecting the resistance using a tester may damage the internal circuit of the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor. Always use the M-MDS to inspect the rear ABS wheel-speed sensor.
NOTE:
- Perform the procedure with the M-MDS connected to the DLC-2.
- Select the following PIDs. (Refer to [PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION
] in the troubleshooting information
)
- WSPD_SEN_L/F (LF ABS wheel-speed sensor)
- WSPD_SEN_R/F (RF ABS wheel-speed sensor)
- Turn the engine switch to ON (engine running) and drive the vehicle.
- Verify that the M-MDS display indicates the same value as the speedometer.
- If there is a malfunction, replace the front ABS wheel-speed sensor. (See FRONT ABS WHEEL-SPEED SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
