Visual inspection
NOTE:
- Perform the procedure with the MAP sensor removed. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
- Visually inspect the MAP sensor for damage and the connector for damage or corrosion.
- There is damage or corrosion
- Repair or replace the malfunctioning location. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [PYUL] ).
- No damage or corrosion
- The MAP sensor is normal, therefore the inspection is completed.
- There is damage or corrosion
