DTC C0062-76: SAS Control Module (Poor Installation)

C0062-76: (DSC) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location SAS control module (poor installation)
Detection condition
NOTE:
  • The low-G sensor is built into the SAS control module.
  • While driving, the electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM detects that the longitudinal-G value does not change as a result of comparing it to the longitudinal-G calculated from the wheel speed.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [DSC] .)
Possible cause
  1. SAS control module incorrect installation (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA/ISRAEL SPEC.] in service information.)
  2. DTCs are stored in the SAS control module. (Low-G sensor malfunction) (See DTC TABLE [SAS] .)
  3. Electronically controlled brake unit/DSC HU/CM malfunction (Refer to [ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION] in service information.) (Refer to DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION in service information.)
Repeatability verification procedure
  1. Clear the DTC recorded in the memory. (See CLEARING DTC .)
  2. Start the electric motor and drive the vehicle at 20 km/h {12 mph} or more.
  3. Gradually slow down and stop vehicle.
