DTC B14F0:78 [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE] DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

System malfunction location Forward sensing camera (FSC) optical axis deviation (detected while driving)
Detection condition
  • The vehicle control module (VCM) detects that there is a large deviation of the optical axis while driving from what the forward sensing camera (FSC) learned in advance.
Fail-safe (See DTC TABLE [VEHICLE CONTROL MODULE (US)] .)
Possible cause
  • Forward sensing camera (FSC) optical axis deviation
    • Poor installation of bracket related to the forward sensing camera (FSC)
  • Tire shape changed due tire wear
  • Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction
  • Vehicle control module (VCM) malfunction (built into body control module (BCM))
