Rear Brake (Disc) Removal/Installation: Notes

- Loosen the adjusting nut. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Disconnect the brake hose from the caliper. (See BRAKE HOSE (REAR) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove in the order indicated in the table.
- Install in the reverse order of removal.
- After installation, add brake fluid, bleed the air, and inspect for fluid leakage. (See BRAKE FLUID AIR BLEEDING .)
- Pump the brake pedal a few times and inspect the following:
- The disc pad projection is securely installed to the piston groove
- Parking brake lever stroke
