DTC P011B-00: ECT/IAT - Correlation Error: Notes
DTC P011B:00 (PCM, SKYACTIV-G 2.0) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE
| DTC P011B:00 |
ECT/IAT: Correlation error |
| DETECTION CONDITION |
- Any one of the following conditions is met, the PCM detects a circuit/range performance problem:
- The temperature detected by the ECT sensor after engine start *1
is 22°C {72°F} higher than the temperature detected by IAT sensor No. 1 20 s after engine start
- The temperature detected by the ECT sensor after engine start *1
is a certain value lower than the temperature detected by IAT sensor No. 1 at engine start. (Without block heater) *2
*1
: Ignition switch is ON when 6 h or more have passed since the ignition was switched off. *2
: Based on the output value from ECT sensor when the engine is started, if the input heat quantity required to increase the engine coolant temperature 3°C {5°F} exceeds the threshold, PCM determines that the block heater is equipped and does not determine a malfunction. MONITORING CONDITIONS
- The following conditions are met:
- Period vehicle being left: 6 h or more
- Battery voltage: 8 V or more
- The following DTCs are not detected:
- IAT sensor No. 1: P0110:00
- ECT sensor: P0117:00, P0118:00
Diagnostic support note
- This is a continuous monitor (CCM).
- The check engine light illuminates if the PCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle.
- FREEZE FRAME DATA/Snapshot data is available.
- DTC is stored in the PCM memory.
