Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY BCM DTCs AGAIN Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Go to Step 5.
2	VERIFY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DTCs Retrieve the instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .) Are any DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	RESET CONFIGURATION DATA FROM INSTRUMENT CLUSTER TO BCM Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) and wait for 30 s or more . (Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) .) Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Using the M-MDS, perform the instrument cluster configuration (using As-Built data) again and wait for 30 s or more . (Refer to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) .) Go to the next step.
3		No	Go to Step 5.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the BCM, then go to the next step. (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
