Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	VERIFY BCM DTCs AGAIN Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 3 s or more . Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	Go to Step 5.
2	VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTCs Retrieve the SAS control module DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) (Refer to DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .)
2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY IF MALFUNCTIONING LOCATION IS SAS CONTROL MODULE DEPENDING ON REPEATABILITY Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 3 s or more . Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module, then go to the next step. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
3		No	Go to Step 5.
4	VERIFY THAT REPAIRS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED Clear the DTC for the BCM using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [BCM] .) Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on) and wait for 3 s or more . Retrieve the BCM DTCs using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [BCM] .) Is the same DTC displayed?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the BCM. (Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Go to the next step.
4		No	Go to the next step.
5	VERIFY IF OTHER DTCs DISPLAYED Are any other DTCs displayed?	Yes	Repair or replace the malfunctioning part according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting. (Refer to DTC TABLE [BCM] .)
5		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
