Diagnostic Procedure

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (AS-BUILT DATA USE) Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
1		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT FRONT BUCKLE Verify that the driver or passenger-side front buckle is correctly installed. Is the driver or passenger-side front buckle correctly installed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
2		No	Correctly Install the driver or passenger-side front buckle. (Refer to FRONT BUCKLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Then go to the next step.
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to CLEARING DTC [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (Refer to DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are the same DTCs present?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (Refer to SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .)
3		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
