Fan Switch Inspection (Manual A/C)

Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
Remove the following parts:
1. Glove compartment (See GLOVE COMPARTMENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
2. Decoration panel (See DECORATION PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
3. Upper panel (See UPPER PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
4. Rear console (See REAR CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
5. Selector lever knob (See AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE SHIFT MECHANISM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
6. Shift panel (See SHIFT PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
7. Front console box (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
8. CD player (See CD PLAYER REMOVAL .) (See CD PLAYER INSTALLATION .)
9. Side wall (See SIDE WALL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
10. Front console (See FRONT CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove the climate control unit. (See CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (MANUAL A/C) .)
Verify that the continuity between the fan switch terminals as indicated in the figure.

- If there is any malfunction, replace the fan switch.
