Operation conditions

Determination conditions

When any of the following condition is met:

Engine coolant temperature continuously reaches high temperature range
Engine speed continuously reaches high engine speed range

NOTE:

Determination period is extended as engine speed lowers

Preconditions

All of the following conditions are met:

Engine coolant temperature: 40°C {104°F} or more
While vehicle is stopped
Shift lever position is neutral (MTX)
Selector lever position is P or N position (ATX)

Accelerator pedal is depressed
