DTC B1207-86: Collision Signal Error: Notes

DTC B1207:86 (REAR BODY CONTROL MODULE (RBCM)) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Description Collision Signal Error
Detection condition
  • When all of the following conditions continue for 3 s.
    • 1.5 s or more have elapsed after ignition was switched ON
    • Rear body control module (RBCM) received error signal from SAS control module
Fail-safe Not applicable
Possible cause
  • DTCs are stored in the SAS control module.
  • SAS control module connector or terminal malfunction
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) connector or terminal malfunction
  • Short to ground in wiring harness between SAS control module terminal 1AF and rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3R
  • Short to power supply in wiring harness between SAS control module terminal 1AF and rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3R
  • Open circuit in wiring harness between SAS control module terminal 1AF and rear body control module (RBCM) terminal 3R
  • SAS control module malfunction
  • Rear body control module (RBCM) malfunction
