TPMS Reminder Reset - Procedure 04
NOTE:
This vehicle is equipped with an Indirect TPM System. No tire pressure sensors are installed on the wheels. For vehicles with a Direct TPMS, see TPMS REMINDER RESET - PROCEDURE 05 .
Perform the tire pressure monitoring system initialization when any of the following occurs:
- Tire pressures have been adjusted to be different than the currently monitored specification
- Tires or wheels have been replaced
- Tires have been rotated
- DSC HU/CM replaced or its connector is disconnected
- Battery replaced or disconnected
- The TPMS warning light is illuminated
- Park the vehicle on level ground.
- Adjust all four tire pressures to specification while the tires are cold.
- Switch the ignition ON.
- Press and hold the TPMS Set Switch until the warning light in the instrument cluster flashes twice and a beep sound is heard once. See Fig 1.
- When the TPMS initialization is performed, learning initiates. Learning is completed by driving the vehicle for 20 minutes.
