Rear Brake Caliper Removal/Installation: Notes

Loosen the adjusting nut. (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Disconnect the brake hose from the caliper. (See REAR BRAKE HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
Remove in the order indicated in the table.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
After installation, add brake fluid, bleed the air, and inspect for fluid leakage. (See BRAKE FLUID AIR BLEEDING .)

After installation, pump the brake pedal a few times and inspect the following:

The disc pad projection is securely assembled to the piston groove.
Parking brake lever stroke (See PARKING BRAKE LEVER INSPECTION .)
