Ambient Temperature Sensor Removal/Installation (Auto A/C)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION .)
  2. Remove the front under cover. (See FRONT UNDER COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
  3. Disconnect the connector.

  4. While pressing the clip tabs of the ambient temperature sensor in the direction of arrows (1) shown in the figure, press the clip in the direction of arrow (2) to detach the clip tabs from the air seal cowl up.

  5. Remove the ambient temperature sensor.
  6. Install in the reverse order of removal.
