- The auto closure does not operate with the ignition switched ON (engine off or on).

| Possible Causes |
- Dirt or foreign matter on power liftgate (PLG) touch sensor
- Connector or terminal malfunction of the following parts:
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module
- Liftgate latch and lock actuator
- Short to ground or open circuit in liftgate latch and lock actuator signal circuit
- Liftgate latch and lock actuator malfunction
- Power liftgate (PLG) control module malfunction
