Determination conditions |
- When any of the following condition is met:
- Engine coolant temperature continuously reaches high temperature range
- Engine speed continuously reaches high engine speed range
NOTE:
- Determination period is extended as engine speed lowers

| Preconditions |
- All of the following conditions are met:
- Engine coolant temperature: 40 °C {104 °F} or more
- While vehicle is stopped
- Shift lever position is neutral (MTX)
- Selector lever position is P or N position (ATX)
- Accelerator pedal is depressed
