DTC B00A0:55 (SAS Control Module (Two-step Deployment Control System - US/Canada Spec.)) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Inspection		Action
1	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (AS-BUILT DATA USE) Perform the SAS control module configuration using the M-MDS. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (USING AS-BUILT DATA) [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .) Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (SAS Control Module (Two-step Deployment Control System - US/Canada Spec.)) .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (SAS Control Module (Two-step Deployment Control System - US/Canada Spec.)) .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
2	INSPECT OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION SENSOR INSTALLATION CONDITION Verify that the occupant classification sensor is correctly installed. (See FRONT SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Is the occupant classification sensor correctly installed?	Yes	Go to the next step.
		No	Correctly Install the occupant classification sensor. (See FRONT SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .) Then go to the next step.
3	PERFORM SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC INSPECTION Clear the DTC for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See CLEARING DTC (SAS Control Module (Two-step Deployment Control System - US/Canada Spec.)) .) Perform the DTC inspection for the SAS control module using the M-MDS. (See DTC INSPECTION (SAS Control Module (Two-step Deployment Control System - US/Canada Spec.)) .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Replace the SAS control module. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM - US/CANADA SPEC.] .)
		No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
