DTC U2300:55 (Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) Control Module) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

| Detection Condition |
- The adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module received a signal which indicates the instrument cluster configuration is not performed.

| Fail-safe |
- The swivel actuator is moved to the center.
- The headlight leveling actuator is stopped at the position when the malfunction is determined.

| Possible Cause |
NOTE:
- To correctly write the configuration data sent from the instrument cluster to the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module to the adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module, 30 s or more need to have elapsed since the ignition was switched ON (engine off or on).
- Instrument cluster configuration is not completed.
- Instrument cluster malfunction
- Adaptive front lighting system (AFS) control module malfunction
