Vacuum Sensor 1 Inspection

- Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
- After the vehicle is identified, select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.
- Select "DataLogger".
- Select "Modules".
- Select "EVP".
- Select the monitor item "VS1" from the PID table.
- Verify that the monitor value of monitor item "VS1" is 40 kPa {300 mmHg, 12 inHg} or less.
- If the monitor value is not 40 kPa {300 mmHg, 12 inHg} or less, replace the power brake unit. (See POWER BRAKE UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
