DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

STEP	INSPECTION		ACTION
1	VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC Using the M-MDS, perform the SAS control module DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) (See DTC INSPECTION [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) (See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)] .) DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step
1		No	Go to the next step.
2	VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED Using the M-MDS, clear the DTC from the DSC HU/CM. (See CLEARING DTC [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .) Using the M-MDS, perform the DSC HU/CM DTC inspection. (See DTC INSPECTION [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .) Is the same DTC present?	Yes	Repeat the inspection from Step 1. If the malfunction recurs, replace the SAS control module then go to the next step. (See SAS CONTROL MODULE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM] .) 2		No	Go to the next step.
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Go to the applicable DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [DYNAMIC STABILITY CONTROL (DSC)] .)
3	VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT Are any DTCs present?	No	DTC troubleshooting completed.
