DTC P0715:00 (FS5A-EL) DETECTION CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

DTC P0715:00	Input/turbine speed sensor circuit malfunction
DETECTION CONDITION	Input/turbine speed sensor signal is not input while vehicle is traveling at speed of 41 km/h {26 mph} or more Diagnostic support note The check engine light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle. The automatic transaxle warning light illuminates if the TCM detects the above malfunction condition during the first drive cycle. PENDING CODE is available. FREEZE FRAME DATA is available. The DTC is stored in the TCM memory.
FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION	Inhibits shifting from 3GR to 4GR Inhibits TCC control Inhibits feedback control
POSSIBLE CAUSE	Input/turbine speed sensor connector or terminal malfunction Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB Short to GND in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB Short to power supply in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y Input/turbine speed sensor malfunction TCM connector or terminal malfunction Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal B and TCM terminal AB Open circuit in wiring harness between input/turbine speed sensor terminal A and TCM terminal Y TCM malfunction
